Fishing Rod Engineers Hate This One Simple Trick! Snakehead Fishing Charter

Snakehead fishing charters are one of my favorites. It takes a very skilled angler to properly target these sneaky fish over the course of a 6 or 8 our fishing trip. It is some of the hardest fishing you'll ever do in freshwater. It's a lot of accurate casting, and covering lots of water very quickly. Then, when you finally do get a bite, you have to set the hook HARD! These fish have a boney head and the hooks have to punch through their skull. If you want to be successful on your first guided trip for snakeheads, it's best to stick with the gear the fishing guide provides for you. You'll want to be proficient at casting a baitcaster. Spinning tackle will work, but it doesn't provide the power needed to set the hook and fight these monster fish. Once you are prepared, they will be some of your favorite fish to target.
