Fasting and fervent prayer are a staple of Christian life typified by the life of Jesus Christ. We were told we would do the same things that he did. He did not say "if you fast..." he said, "when you fast...."

God specifically mentions priests and teachers twice in Book of Joel which reinforces the truth that it us us called as leaders, teachers, apostles, prophets, evangelists who need to fast often and interceded with prayer.

Fasting can change and entire person, household, town, city, government, nation, world, history. At Praise House we seek to equip the saints in this and lead by example to contend for our city Hoquiam, our region western Washington, our neighbors right across the Pacific Ocean, our government and for the children of Israel.
