New Zealand’s first lesbian commander loses 10% of fleet

New Zealand’s largest ship, the Manawanui, ran aground, set on fire and sank on Saturday. The uninsured, $100mn ship, under command of New Zealand’s first lesbian commander, was surveying the seabed to ensure ships didn’t run aground. One lifeboat capsized during the evacuation.
