The YellaWood 500 descended into chaos at Talladega Superspeedway as “The Big One” crash involved 28 cars, the highest number of drivers ever wiped out in a single incident in NASCAR Cup Series history.

With just five laps to go, Brad Keselowski collided with race leader Austin Cindric, triggering a massive pileup that affected several postseason contenders, including Chase Elliott and Joey Logano.

While Cindric, Michael McDowell, and Daniel Hemric were evaluated for injuries, they were later released, the Daily Express has reported.
