Life has a way of testing us, shaking us, and revealing our weaknesses. In Luke 22:31-32, Jesus tells Peter that Satan has asked to "sift him as wheat." This sifting process is a picture of trials, challenges, and even failure. It’s uncomfortable, and it can feel like everything is falling apart. But Jesus also tells Peter something deeply encouraging: “I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail.” Even in the sifting, Peter was safe, because Jesus had interceded for him.

In this message, we will explore what it means to be "safe in the sifting." We will look at Peter’s journey from fear and failure to faith and leadership. And we will see how Jesus works through the sifting in our own lives, not to destroy us, but to purify and strengthen us.

Peter’s story shows us that while the sifting is difficult, it is not without purpose. Through the trials, the failures, and the challenges, God is working to refine us, strengthen our faith, and fulfill His plans for our lives.

Remember, Jesus is praying for you in the midst of your sifting. You are safe in His hands, and nothing can separate you from His love. Let us take comfort in knowing that even in our weakness, God’s strength is made perfect. Through His grace, we can rise, be restored, and fulfill the calling He has placed on our lives.

In Christ,
