Maldives President Muizzu On A State Visit To India

The President of Maldives, Mohamed Muizzu, is on his first bilateral visit to India, starting from October 6 till October 10. According to the External Affairs Ministry of India, Muizzu will call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the visit is expected to give momentum to bilateral ties. Muizzu will also meet his Indian counterpart Droupadi Murmu during his state visit. He will also attend some business events in Mumbai and Bengaluru. Muizzu, who won presidential elections in 2023 with his “India Out” campaign, came to New Delhi in June for PM Modi and the council of ministers’ swearing-in ceremony.
