Second Corinthians is one of the apostle Paul's most personal letter. He writes with emotion. Paul has suffered much for the cause of the gospel, yet his faith remains in the One who saved him. Here are some of the things we will look at as we study this New Testament epistle:
What is the purpose of affliction?
Where do you turn when you need comforting?
What about sorrow, hurt, grief and a broken heart? Is it ok to feel these things? Or to cause them at times?
How do you deal with adversity, opposition conflict and division?
How should we live and respond in spite of our feelings?
Are we prepared to stand before the judgment seat of God?
Are we worshipping God with our resources?
And finally, if we truly examine ourselves, would we find our faith to be genuine?
