Plant of the Week - Boomberry - was offered between October 5, 2024 through October 12, 2024.

Boomberry is a member of the Arma-Mint family.
Boomberry costs 225 Sun.
Boomberry fires a bomblet at the last zombie in the lane.
This bomblet deals 120 damage. (+20 damage per level.)
This bomblet deals 90 splash damage to zombies on that tile. (+15 damage on levels 2 and 10. +5 damage on levels 3 and 9. +10 on other levels.)

Commentary:
Boomberry is designed to counter those zombies which never transverse the lawn; zombies like Fisherman or Catapult zombie.

Bottom Line:
We like the idea of a plant countering specific zombies. However we like our plants to do more than just be situational.

Sadly though, that's all Boomberry is. If you select this plant, you are also going to need more traditional plant to handle normal zombies as well as early threats and Sun production. Considering that Boomberry is fairly expensive, there is a good chance the level will be close to complete by the time Boomberry may not be planted. If that is the case, then why is Boomberry being selected in the first place?

Perks = Poison / SHIELDS / Boss Buster (Damage to Zomboss.)
