The Big Picture Testing for Tomorrow

The modern army must always keep a step ahead of itself in its planning. With an eye on tomorrow's military needs, the United States Army conducts a varied and comprehensive testing program on the materiel of battle to ensure that the American fighting man will remain the best equipped combat-ready soldier in the world. This issue of THE BIG PICTURE shows various Army testing procedures from lenses for gun sights, to the vast transportation vehicles and vessels employed in the movement of troops and equipment. This film is an unusual "behind the scenes" report.
