Scope & Content: Soldiers play the piano, read, and write letters in the Hostess House. Gen. Fred S. Foltz confers with aides. Shows a practice alert: the alarm is sounded; radio and flag messages sent; telephone wires repaired; a skirmish line advances, fires, and throws grenades; artillery pieces are moved into firing position; "wounded" are removed from trenches, given first aid, and evacuated; machine gun units move into positions; and field kitchens dispense food.
