The Main Stream Media started panicking when Tim Walz wasn't fighting.

Tim Walz, the Democratic VP nominee, travelled to China and taught at a high school the in August 1989. Hong Kong at the times, however, was still a British Colony, nothing to do with China.

Walz, as a member of Congress in 2014 and his campaign staff hace repeatedly misled Walz's voters. The New York Times and other news organizations has also put him close to the scene of one of the most dramatic episodes in modern history, in the spring of 1989, when 10s of 1000s of students protested for democratic reforms, then suppressed by military crackdowns on June 3 and 4 — in which protesters, soldiers and bystanders were killed — reverberated around the world.

Walz, taught at a Chinese high school after the Tinanmen suppression, when others in the same program backed out. Walz has since stayed for a while. He recounted quite some enjoyable experiences in China afterwards.

Returning to the United States, Walz and his wife set up a company named “Educational Travel Adventures” to coordinate summer trips to China for American high school students. He has since travelled to China, with his wife/his students for dozens of times.
