President of Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE presided over the official launch ceremony of the initiative "Month of October, Month of Local Consumer" in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA).
Established in October 2019 in Ouagadougou, "Month of October, Month of Local Consumer" is an initiative aimed at intensifying actions to promote the consumption of local products in the UEMOA area. "This decision goes hand in hand with our policy of making the consumption of local products, the basis of genuine endogenous and inclusive development," said the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE in his speech delivered by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism.
