Cheeseburger Chowder Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon butter
1 onion (diced)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
3 cups potatoes (peeled and diced)
2 carrots (peeled and diced)
3 cups beef broth
1 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 can diced tomatoes (drained, optional)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon mustard (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons flour (optional, for thickening)
Green onions or bacon bits (for garnish)
Instructions:
Brown the Beef:

In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
Sauté Vegetables:

Add diced onion and garlic to the pot with the beef, cooking until the onion is soft and translucent (about 3-5 minutes).
Cook the Vegetables:

Add diced potatoes and carrots to the pot. Pour in the beef broth.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Make it Creamy:

Stir in milk and heavy cream, letting the soup heat through without boiling.
If you like a thicker soup, mix 2 tablespoons of flour with a bit of water to make a slurry and slowly stir it into the chowder, letting it thicken as it cooks.
Cheesy Goodness:

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted and incorporated.
Add Worcestershire sauce, mustard (if using), and salt and pepper to taste.
Optional Additions:

If using diced tomatoes, add them at this stage, stirring gently.
Serve:

Ladle the chowder into bowls and garnish with green onions or bacon bits for added texture and flavor.
Enjoy your hearty, cheesy Cheeseburger Chowder! Perfect for a cozy meal.
