I was out today checking the back back roads of Old Fort and outskirts of Lake Lure for people stuck by trees in their driveways.
What people need is cash. Physical dollars.
I've decided to use my PO box to accept cash donations if anyone wants to help.
It hit us Friday morning (payday for most of my neighbors who live paycheck to paycheck)
People are broke or don't have the gas to travel to where stores are taking debit cards.

They're offering $750 "relief cards" to people who DON'T HAVE ELECTRICITY, INTERNET, CELL SERVICE OT ACCESS TO STORES THAT ACCEPT CARDS.

I can't express what a slap in the face that is.
