The Dream: Psalm 91 from Susie Harris

I just awoke from such an incredible prophetic dream. I knew that in this dream all I was experiencing was exactly THE Word, hid in my heart, being made alive to me, shaking me to my core and bringing me to my knees.

"The dream began with me sitting in this cage-like, amusement type ride with two other girls who were very careless and reckless. I remember thinking "I hope they don't do anything crazy to jeopardize us."

"The ride was caged in the back and on the sides with a soft pillow-like bed to sit on. The front had bars on the bottom half and was open so you could look out on the top and had bars on each side, there was a safety bar you could hold on to."

"The ride began and the car went up and down and around in the dark, it started going faster and faster around the treacherous corners. It would go up high and then drop down real fast. And during all of this to my horror, the girls decided they were going to jump out of the moving cart and they fell, disappearing into the dark."

After they left the cart shifted because of the weight inside - and the whole thing shook, but I had a sense that this was supposed to happen. The front latch came open and out I came still sitting on the cushioned bed. I had a knowing that I was held, something Great was holding me."

"I took a deep breath and something magical happened; the bed began to soar in the air, up and down through the inside of the amusement ride, as if I was on some kind of magic carpet. Again, I know that something had me and I wasn't nor could I be in control. I simply had to trust that I was held and I would be okay, I would make it to safety."

"I came to a certain point in the ride where the bed flew out from under me and I landed on this huge Rock, this cleft in the dark (which since, the Lord has revealed was Christ, the Rock). From this Rock I could see the bed flying, floating beneath me. I said to myself, "I guess I'm going to have to jump back down to get onto that bed" I knew I had other places to go. So I let go of all fear and in faith just went for it with a sure knowing. I landed right on the bed."

"At that moment, the bed began to soar again and took me just a short distance and dumped me off onto a 'field of rocks' where I immediately heard in my spirit "Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone!" I felt no pain from the rocks, I was completely protected. I looked out and I could see that these were living stones, they were alive, and I came undone. I started crying uncontrollably as I fell to my knees for I knew in this very moment THE Word was coming alive, being made flesh to me. I could hardly contain the presence of the Lord. I knelt there worshiping the Lord with the living stones, as He replayed all that had just transpired. How he had just kept me, held me through all the extreme and difficult places I had just been through, never once leaving me, abandoning me, but holding and keeping me the entire time. I was undone."

"He was opening up my ears and eyes to who He really was to me, The all in all in each and every moment, even in the most adverse of circumstances I could let go and trust that it was all Him. He had me no matter what! That He was right in the middle of the stuff of things."

Immediately I awoke from the dream and I started crying knowing this was being revealed to me at a deep level. I was held by Jehovah, and The Word hid in my heart, was being made flesh to me as I had never experienced before. He was showing Himself to me yet again, in the most amazing and humbling of ways, through difficult and intense, sovereign of circumstances.

All I could do was let go and trust that He had me in each and every one, that He would see me through. That He would provide everything, whether the word "do this, don't do that", in that minute second. That He would be all I needed from each thing to the next. He, was revealing himself to me, THE all in each one. I could not nor would I trust in my own wisdom, power, insight, intuition, the arm of flesh - no! All of that had no place. It would be He and He alone that would deliver! He alone that would provide! He that would speak. I that would simply and quickly obey - for my life depended upon it."

And then I heard Psalm 91: 9 through 12 -

"Because thou has made the Lord God, which is my refuge, even the most high, thy habitation, there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep the in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in the hands, (this was the magic carpet held by His hand), lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Even the stone was Him). Because he has set his love upon me I will deliver him; I will set him on high (onto the Rock, Christ Jesus), because he has known my name. He shall call upon me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

I read over this dream quite often, it truly shows that as we keep our eyes fixed on him who is our life, he keeps us in all of our ways no matter what it is we encounter, whether it appear evil or good.

As we remain with him in the moment, he is what we need from moment to moment it does not come apart from him. He alone, is the answer, the remedy, the cure!
