Herbert von Karajan - Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov - Scheherazade Symphonische Suite Op. 35 - BPO 1967

I read somewhere Karajan was so mad that they made him record this despite hating it that it was one of the main reasons he signed with other labels that promised to let him record what he wanted. Around the same time they forced some black opera singer on him instead of letting him use the singers he always uses which must be coming up soon on one of our records. He tried to make this sound classic German instead of wierd Russian.
