Linux mint 22 aka wilma

Linux mint running on older kernels like kernel 5 ran perfectly fine with usb network adapters when installing. What I discovered with this version of linux mint is that the usb network adapters don't work outright. You will need a wired connection depending on your hardware.

Also with kernel revision 6.8, you have other issues where nvidia is a little bit late to the party making display drivers for this kernel. AMD and Intel drivers already exist. At the moment I don't see the need to change the gpu in this computer so I will just run the noveau driver for the time being. But for the most part it works perfectly fine backing up what I hold sacred at 30% processor core utilization and 9 hours run time vs 15 hours run time.
