Winchester Model 670a 30-06 SPRG Rifle Tabletop Review - Episode #202432

Winchester model 670a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered for 30-06 Springfield rounds. Considered the “poor man’s Model 70”, the 670 was the more affordable alternative, designed around the Winchester Model 70’s format. Winchester 670’s were produced from 1966 till 1979. This one has a 22 inch barrel and is chambers for the 30-06 Springfield rounds, but 670’s were also offered in .225 Winchester, .243 Winchester, .270 Winchester, .308 Winchester as well as the .30-06 Springfield. There were also a 24 inch barrel 670 Magnum Model and a 19” barrel 670 Carbine Model. Winchester produced over 287,000 of these 670 rifles.
