J.D. Vance and Tim Walz agreed to participate in a debate hosted by CBS provided the terms offered by CBS were followed. The CBS moderators did not follow the rules and breached the agreement between the parties - that is grounds for a Breach of Contract lawsuit.
Such a suit is well worth the money and time to establish a precedent which will bring punishment to moderators and hosts looking to create "trap" scenarios for candidates.
God bless the Republic of Texas.
