20240420 173531 Three (not two!) CPA Cats

This is the first time that I've seen _three_ CPA cats, and certainly the first time that I've seen #CPACat2 approach me rather than run away when I've passed through. The bizarre thing was how #CPACat2 and (new) #CPACat3 constantly circled me, in some sort of ritualistic feed-me dance. All that they've ever done is to run directly away from me to stay at a "safe" distance

At first I didn't realize that #CPACat1 was by the fence but I could hear his meowing, but couldn't attribute it to the two circling cats. Only then did I see #CPACat1 ("the meower") and realized that there were now three.

Fortunately I still had a reasonable amount of dry food left on this trip and so I split it up into three piles to avoid contention, and as soon as I walked away, everyone settled on their own pile to eat. As usual, #CPACat1 insisted on eating behind the fence.
