DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!

Join us as we dive deep with Budimir Sobat, the incredible freediver who made headlines by breaking the word record for the longest ever breath hold. On 27 March 2021, he broke the record for the longest time breath held voluntarily (male) with a staggering time of 24 minutes 37.36 seconds. Budimir attempted this record in Sisak, Croatia, to promote the city after it was hit by a strong earthquake in December 2020.

What makes Budimir's achievement even more remarkable is that he only started freediving when he was 48. He was 56 years old when he beat the world record in 2021. He is determined to break his own record at the end of 2024. He is aiming for the 25 minute mark this time.

In this exclusive interview, we explore the journey that led him to break this remarkable world record and the mental and physical preparations behind such an astonishing feat.
