We begin a series of shows on Dracula movies.  We are focusing on the Dracula movies that are translations of the novel to the screen.  We begin with arguably the best known adaptation of Bram Stoker's book.  Bela Lugosi stars as the Count in the Universal Studios 1931 adaptation!  Which Dracula movie is your favorite?

"Just a moment, ladies and gentlemen! A word before you go. We hope the memories of Dracula and Renfield won't give you bad dreams, so just a word of reassurance. When you get home tonight and the lights have been turned out and you are afraid to look behind the curtains — and you dread to see a face appear at the window — why, just pull yourself together and remember that after all, there are such things as vampires!"

Plot Synopsis: Transylvanian vampire Count Dracula bends a naive real estate agent to his will, then takes up residence at a London estate where he sleeps in his coffin by day and searches for potential victims by night.
