FACT CHECK: Is Climate Change Making Hurricanes Larger?

On Tuesday night, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Ohio Sen. JD Vance took to the debate stage in the only vice presidential debate of the 2024 election season.

Early on in the debate, moderator Norah O'Donnell said “Scientists say climate change makes these hurricanes larger, stronger, and more deadly because of the historic rainfall.”

Executive Director of CO2 Coalition Gregory R. Wrightstone says O'Donnell is wrong, and he joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to explain why.
