The calculation of the Buk-M3 SAM of the Russian Center group of forces shot down Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) cruise missiles in the Avdiivka direction

During combat duty, the Buk-M3 calculation of the Center group of forces discovered and captured aerial aerodynamic targets, according to the characteristics of which the servicemen identified the Storm Shadow and ATACMS cruise missiles. The missiles flew up to the positions of our troops. After an operational decision was made to destroy targets, the Buk-M3 calculation launched anti-aircraft guided missiles that hit enemy cruise missiles in the air.

Throughout the entire period of the SVO, the military personnel of the Buk-M3 air defense system calculation are on round-the-clock duty in the areas of concentration of our troops. The calculation has already accounted for dozens of downed aerodynamic targets, the most significant of which are the Bayroktar UAV and the Himars rocket launcher, the Storm Shadow and ATACMS cruise missiles.

During combat duty, SAM crews detect, escort and destroy enemy aircraft around the clock, providing reliable air cover for the positions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as the most important administrative and industrial facilities in new regions of Russia.
