The great historical lie of Mongol Genghis Khan's attack on Iran

The Mongol invasion of Iran is one of the most ambiguous parts of history. Did Genghis Khan, this ruthless commander, truly exist, or was he merely a fictional character created to instill fear? The historical sources that recount his stories are mostly from the enemies of the Mongols, and no credible document has been left by the Mongols themselves. Perhaps Genghis Khan is just a fabricated myth to justify great defeats and collapses. How can we trust stories that have always been written by the vanquished? Maybe it's time to seriously question the existence of this character and the events attributed to him
