The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Andrei Belousov, held a meeting at the command post of the Center group of troops, where he heard reports from the command on the current situation, the provision of troops in the zone of a special military operation and the nature of enemy actions.

The commander of the group of troops, Colonel General Andrey Mordvichev, reported to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation on the use of tactical and army aviation, artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles in the area of responsibility.

"In the Red Army area, 12 settlements were liberated in September. There are about 130 square kilometers in total. 73 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were captured," Colonel–General Andrei Mordvichev reported.

Andrei Belousov highly appreciated the results of the combat work of the units of the Center group of forces, and also presented state awards to the servicemen who showed bravery, courage and heroism.
