Kielbasa in Puff Pastry with Cheddar Cheese
Servings: 4-6
Prep Time: 5 minutes (plus 4 hours for thawing puff pastry)
Cook Time: 15-18 minutes

Ingredients:
4 kielbasa sausages
1 cup (90g) cheddar cheese, shredded
1 box puff pastry, thawed for 4 hours (or overnight in the fridge)
Water (for sealing the pastry dough)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
Prepare puff pastry: On a cutting board, lay out the thawed puff pastry and cut into 4 strips, each wide enough to leave about a ½-inch of exposed sausage on both ends.
Assemble: Place a tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese onto the center of each pastry strip. Then, lay a kielbasa sausage on top of the cheese.
Wrap the sausage: Roll the sausage in the puff pastry, leaving the ends exposed. Dab a little water on the top edge of the dough before sealing to help it stick. Trim off any excess pastry, then place each wrapped sausage seam side down on a baking sheet.
Bake: Bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve: Enjoy hot!
