Netflix Cancellations Almost Triple After Co-Founder Endorses Harris

The number of people cancelling their Netflix accounts skyrocketed after the Co-founder of the company - Reed Hastings - endorsed Kamala Harris and donated $7 Million dollars to her campaign.
According to a report, the streaming platform has the lowest rate of cancellations in the industry but in July – cancellations jumped to 2.8% - which is higher than any month since February.
The cancellations soared unusually high in the five-day period following Hastings’ endorsement on X when he wrote Congrats to Kamala Harris -- now it is time to win. Trump supporters called for a boycott and posted pics of their canceled accounts online.
According to Bloomberg, July 26 was the streaming giant’s worst day for cancellations this year.
