Man killed, 2 others injured in violent car crash on Chicago's South Side overnight

A man was killed after being ejected from his vehicle and two others were injured in a violent crash overnight on the city's South Side. According to Chicago police, a man driving a black Lexus sedan ran a red light just before 2 a.m. Tuesday going north in the 3500 block of South Ashland Avenue and was hit by an SUV. Police say the driver of the Lexus was ejected from the vehicle and struck a building in the 3400 block of S.
