The Fall of Small Businesses - The Tim Walz Effect

On Sunday, Sept. 29 at 7 PM CDT, a powerful, no-holds-barred virtual meeting took place, where we heard from four brave women who dared to defy Governor Tim Walz’s overreach during the COVID lockdowns – and paid the price for it. These were the voices they tried to silence.

Lisa Hanson, who owned a bar, spent 90 days behind bars for the "crime" of opening her doors and serving her community. Larvita Mcfarquhar, a proud small business owner, faced threats of being sent to the work farm – and we couldn’t ignore the unsettling racial undertones there. Jane Moss, a restaurant owner in Moorhead, watched as her customers crossed the border to North Dakota, while her business was strangled by Minnesota’s lockdown orders. And then there was Lisa Monet, a bar owner from Lakeville, who fought tooth and nail to keep her doors open.

These women were living proof of the devastating impact of Walz's draconian lockdowns. Their businesses were crushed, their livelihoods threatened, and their freedoms taken – all for daring to provide for their families and communities.

We were still fuming, and it was time to stand together and show our support for these courageous women. Those who attended had the opportunity to hear their stories firsthand and learn what really happened behind the headlines.

If you were there on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 7 PM CDT, you were part of the movement that refused to let small businesses be silenced. You joined us live for that compelling conversation and helped amplify the voices of those who fought back.
