Thousands of people flee Lebanon for Syria as Israel-Hezbollah conflict worsens

The UNHCR has said at least 100,000 people have crossed to Syria from Lebanon since the escalation of hostilities in the Middle East.

Israel's defense minister Yoav Gallant said "The next stage in the war against Hezbollah will begin soon" as reports suggest an imminent ground assault in Lebanon.
