Combat operations by UAV operators of the Sever group of troops on “air demining” of the area from explosive objects of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the border area of ​​the Kursk region

Servicemen of the North group of troops will use unmanned aerial vehicles to clear territories of explosive objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the border area of ​​the Kursk region. First, a reconnaissance drone is launched onto the required area of ​​terrain, which, at the lowest possible altitudes, detects traps left by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, unexploded ordnance, and explosive objects.

Demining occurs in the shortest possible time, while personnel remain at a safe distance. The UAV crew quickly unloads the necessary equipment and sets it up on the ground. A drone with ammunition is sent to the detected target, the operator of which drops it to destroy the detected explosive objects of the enemy by detonation.

After completing a task in a specific area, the fighters quickly pack up and change position. The method of "air demining" has become relevant due to the installation of modern mines on seismic and laser sensors - a sapper simply cannot approach them.
