Fidelio Experiment with subtitles & timer

The Fidelio Experiment... with no intro & I have added subtitles & a timer.

Stanley Kubrick’s last film, Eyes Wide Shut is a true masterpiece. One which most of us don’t understand. I have uncovered a new way to see this film which was definitely intended by the director. Stanley hides a key to decipher this puzzle in the timeline itself. Eyes Wide Shut has been constructed in such a way that every major scene in the film is related directly to other key scenes spaced exactly 1 hour apart from each other. Stanley places himself in his film, like an easter egg, to call our attention to the moment where we learn the password, Fidelio. This moment is when we are intended to start the film again on a second screen. When that screen reaches 1:00:00 on the timeline, we are meant to press play on a third screen. This theoretically could go on & on, infinitely looping the scenes together forever. I chose to display 3 screens, when seen in this way we can hear the moments line up so perfectly, even the dialogue is in sync. One screen will pose a question and another screen’s dialogue will answer it. It is amazing… How Kubrick created this to synchronize so perfectly, one can only guess. We know he shot everything on VHS tape before it was ever committed to film. We also know the time it took to shoot Eyes Wide Shut is the longest of any film in history. So he had the time, and the ability to build his film this way. When you see it yourself, it is undeniable. So here, for your viewing pleasure is 'Fidelio Experiment', Eyes Wide Shut synchronized with itself.
