Posted • September 29, 2024: I've never seen "Veep." I don't watch much TV, and "Veep" is among the shows I never took an interest in. Julia Louis-Dreyfus was great on "Seinfeld," so it might have been worth a look. I've seen a lot of people say that Kamala Harris is like "Veep" in real life. Louis-Dreyfus, however, says that the character is "not a Kamala Harris type" but more comparable to Donald Trump. “Veep” actor Julia Louis-Dreyfus said her character on the hit HBO show was “not a Kamala Harris type” and instead compared the fictional vice president to former President Trump. -- Her character was a female US Senator who became a powerless and disliked Veep until the unpopular incumbent had to quit and she became president before losing in a very close election against an overweight Republican who likes border walls and lost the first debate. -- Oh.

Donald Trump, the famously female U.S. senator turned failed presidential primary candidate turned unpopular vice president who became the leader of her party when the president abruptly announced he would not be running for re-election. That sounds like something written by a PR firm intern who hasn't watched an episode of Veep. Hahaha! You could have fooled us. I thought Harris had hired the Veep writers. Oh, ok Julia. You sure it wasn't that you were fine riffing on her when you thought she had no political future but now that she's the Dem nominee you are a bit horrified that your mockery of her might actually damage her? You rang? It's not even close. It's eerie how similar Selena is to Kamala. It's not a lie if you believe it…… And…nobody believes that. Including her. Lol. So the series started in 2012… Can we get a fact check on this one? She's not an expert on this stuff …
