Disney+ Crackdown on Password Sharing as Market Share Falls

Disney+ has rolled out their new initiative to crackdown on password sharing by users of their various accounts which have upset many.

This move by the Walt Disney Company is designed to mimic similar moves made by other streamers such as Netflix which saw an increase in new subscribers following their password sharing crackdown. However, when Netflix made their change, the company was already on an upward trajectory whereas Disney has been losing market shares.
