We then get in to an in depth discussion showing what happens to a variety of man made materials when they are subjected to the harsh environment of space over various periods of time. The results should make one ask even more questions regarding long stay missions to the Moon and Mars in future years to come.

We also review the space suits from Polaris Dawn mission and compare them with the Apollo space suits fifty five years in the past. The question is, have they improved or has the technology gone in reverse?
