This is part 2 of the Bushwick walking tour. For this part, I continued to walk around notable streets like Knickerbocker Ave, Myrtle Ave, Irving Ave, Flushing Ave, Johnson Ave, DeKalb Ave, Wyckoff Ave, and Cypress Ave closer to Ridgewood, Queens. Bushwick is known for its hip-style street art in public, art studios, a Latino community (mostly Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Colombians, Ecuadorians, Hondurans etc.), it's a place where urban professionals meet working-class residents, and an incredible nightlife at event venues like Avant Gardner, Brooklyn Steel, House of Yes, Elsewhere, Our Wicked Lady, The Brooklyn Monarch, and fancy bars to check out. The indoor theme park Area 53 Adventure Park is also cool to see with trampoline rides, games to play, rock climbing, arcades, and roller skating. The warehouse area of Bushwick and East Williamsburg gets busy and active with events during the weekends, summer days, and regularly certain times in the afternoon or evening.
