Video Gear Maintenance - Repairing The Velbon Tripod

I bought this tripod for Lydia back when we first got married. Remember she’s only 29. 
With the rough use I’ve been putting it through the past 6 years of video recording for YouTube it is showing a bit of wear in the leg clamps. I thought of a fix and it is working fine now.
