Plant of the Week - Blastberry Vine - was offered between September 28, 2024 through October 5, 2024.

Blastberry Vine is a member of the Arma-Mint family.
Blastberry Vine costs 175 Sun. (-25 Sun at level 3 and 7.)
Blastberry Vine fires five (5) bomblets. (+1 bomblet at levels 5 and 9.)
Each bomblet does 15 damage. (+10 damage per level except on levels 5 and 9.)
Blastberry Vine; being a vine; can be planted on top of other plants.

Commentary:
With many viable options in the Arma-Mint family, an Arma-mint vine is definitely something to consider.

Bottom Line:
We understand that part of the cost of any Vine plant is that ability to be planted on top of other plants. Generally speaking, for other families, this cost is 25 Sun. We feel 50 Sun is a fair price for this ability.

All of that being said, we just find Blastberry Vine a bit expensive for its cost. Given a choice of two (2) columns of a particular plant or one column of the same plant and Blastberry Vine, we find the two (2) columns more efficient.

Perks = SHIELDS / Knockback / Boss Buster (Damage to Zomboss.)

+Timestamps
00:00 | Difficulty 1 = Sling Pea
01:52 | Difficulty 2 = Ultomato
03:42 | Difficulty 3 = Zoybean Pod = FAIL. They're just too fragile at this level.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
