Day 135 - Speed Cutting Trail Overgrowth – LaneShark LS3

With the tractor up and running, I wanted to get back to some trail work. Today, I used the LaneShark LS3 to clean up one of our main access trails on the property. Cutting overreaching limbs with the tractor is so much faster and easier than walking with a pole saw.

I partnered with LaneShark to introduce my audience to the LS3 in exchange for me giving it a workout on my property. We have a couple miles of trails established and a few more mapped out. With the sheer distance of trails I am maintaining, I don't see how this LS3 won't be an MVP tool for our property.

The LS3 is the LaneShark model sized to my tractor specs. LaneShark has more options depending on your specific tractor hydraulic flow and loader lift capacity. It's worth noting that you need a continuous flow kit installed on your tractor to power the hydraulic motor in the LaneShark. A regular third-function kit doesn't usually have a continuous flow.
