NASA astronaut Tracy C. Dyson and Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub undocked from the International Space Station’s Prichal module ahead of a return to Earth aboard the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft on Sept. 23 completing long-duration missions on the International Space Station. The trio will return to Earth a few hours following undocking for a parachute-assisted landing on the steppe of Kazakhstan. During her mission, Dyson spent 184 days in space living and working aboard the microgravity laboratory to advance scientific knowledge and demonstrate new technologies for future human and robotic exploration missions as part of NASA’s Moon and Mars exploration approach, including lunar missions through NASA’s Artemis program. Kononenko and Chub landed after spending 374 days in space.
