Hiking Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Drei Zinnen) in the Italian Dolomites, Sept 2024

Finally completed hiking what might be the premier mountainous destination in the Dolomite Mountains of northeastern Italy. Arriving before daylight on a bluebird day to secure a prized parking spot at the Rifugio Auronzo, I was able to get considerable sunrise photos and time lapse video (using 2 cameras and an iphone). Unbelievable crowds, even in off-season September, didn't spoil the awesome beauty and magnificence of this incredible place. Did the hike out to Cadini di Misurina (from Rifugio Auronzo), but that is the subject of a separate video.
