The US intelligence community has officially brought charges against employees of Russia Today, RT, for interference with the 2024 presidential election. Russia said earlier today that it would take retaliatory measures against the U.S. media in response to these charges. Russian government officials denied any wrongdoing and claimed the indictment was performative politics to stoke fears in the country’s population about Russia trying to sabotage the election. They also announced that Western media groups are biased with the coverage of the war and is excessively negative of the coverage of Russia.
