Bushcraft Shelter Build - Episode 9 - The Back Wall

"Camp Coyote"

Episode 9 is centered around the construction and completion of the back wall of the shelter. By adding the framework of poles it allows me to weave and fill it in with debris, saplings and whatever can be found on the forest floor. The back wall takes on more of a primitive look using thatching and weaving. This shelter is fairly large and some might think it is overkill but I am trying to build it to last many years. Many camping trips!

It is a very hot and muggy day in the forest but many trees provide me with plenty of shade with a slight breeze every now and then. Fueled by the calories from an MRE, I give it my best effort to build what I envision. This is going to be one awesome and unique shelter when I am finished with it.
I really appreciate everyone that watches my videos! It's hard work sometimes and filming makes it that much harder. Not only do I want to take you into the wild with me but I hope my audience can learn a thing or two as well. We can all learn and grow together!
