This chapter is going to speak of Messiah and also display more of the folly of idolatry. There are many today who think that we are far too sophisticated to practice idolatry today. They are simply being fooled. Sun-god-day worship, Easter, Christmas, crosses, fish, and many other things are merely carryovers from pagan idolatry that are practiced religiously around the world. There is nothing new under the sun.
Isa 42:8
"I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.

Elohim does not share His glory or praise with pagan deities.
