The Division 2 - D.C. Under Seige

In 2015, chaos gripped New York City as the deadly Green Poison epidemic swept through, pushing society to the brink. In a desperate move, the U.S. government activated the Strategic Homeland Division (SHD), a secret force of sleeper agents known only as “The Division.” These agents, armed with cutting-edge technology and granted near-total autonomy, became the last line of defense against the collapse. Backed by ISAC, a powerful AI managing their communications and tech across the country, they fought to hold the remnants of order together.

But by 2016, the nightmare escalated. The Green Poison had unleashed a global pandemic, and the collapse of civilization followed in its wake. With the federal government in ruins and Acting President Andrew Ellis missing after Air Force One was shot down over Washington, D.C., the nation’s capital descended into anarchy. The city fractured into war-torn territories, each controlled by a brutal faction:

The Joint Task Force (JTF), a coalition of police, military, and volunteers, held onto the White House, trying to shield the civilians and reestablish control. Supporting them was the Civilian Militia, spread across city settlements, striving to reclaim their shattered lives.

But opposing them were three sinister factions: The Hyenas, a gang of marauders reveling in chaos, ruled from the District Union Arena; the Outcasts, fanatical survivors of quarantine camps, sought violent revenge from their base on Roosevelt Island; and the True Sons, led by mutinous soldiers who believed only brutal authoritarian rule could restore order, had seized the Capitol as their stronghold.

In this lawless warzone, The Division stands as the last hope for survival, battling enemies on all sides in a shattered America…
