RING OF POWER Suffers Huge Decline in Viewers | Disaster for LORD OF THE RINGS Series

The Nielsen streaming numbers are in and they confirm season 2 of the Amazon Prime Video series The Rings of Power has significantly fewer people tuning in for the second season when compared to the first.

These new figures comparing the premiere episodes for the Lord of the Rings series is not surprising given the data we have up to this point. Many other third party analytic companies have also shown a viewership drop between the first and second seasons, including from Amazon themselves. It may be difficult to imagine they have much further to fall given how Amazon lost over 60% of its viewers during the first season, but with data showing a significant drop this season, it would appear the worst is not behind Amazon.
