#ExpediaAmbassador🌊⚓️ I visited Newfoundland in early September and one thing I learnt is that it is HUGE and there is so much to do 😅So here are some tips + learnings from my trip to help you plan for your own🩵

BEST TIME OF YEAR:
🥶Iceberg season - may to june
🐳Whale season - may to september
🐧Puffin season - may to august
🥾Hiking season - june - september

ST JOHN'S TIPS:
•STAY: in the Doubletree by Hilton - book via @expedia so you earn OneKeyCash which can be spent on future trips!
• DO/VISIT: Signal Hill, Vidi Brewery, the Battery, Dildo (an hour away), Cape Spear, and Jellybean Row.
• EAT/DRINK: St John's Fish Exchange, Terre, Bagel Cafe, and O'Reilly's/Shamrock City Pub (good live music).

GROS MORNE TIPS:
STAY: Ocean View Hotel right in Rocky Harbour.
• DO/VISIT: Gros Morne Mountain, Tablelands, Green Gardens, Western Brook Pond, and Noris Point.
• EAT: Java Jacks, Oceans Room, Buoy and Arrow, and The Black Spruce.

OTHER TIPS:
Trinity/Bonavista, Fogo Island, and Twilingate are all incredibly stops.
• You may need to book hotels in advance if you want to stay in small towns.
• Eat fresh fish and try local moose.
•The weather changes so fast and is hard to predict.
Talk to the locals-they are what make it so special and unique.
•You need a car to get around. I booked via @expedia and it was a breeze.
•The drive to Gros Morne from St. John's is 7/8 hours is long and there isn't a lot of good service on the drive as well. If you have a short amount of time I suggest thinking about if it's worth the time for you
