Matthew 16: 1-28
In Matthew 16, Jesus warned his disciples to beware of the teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees, and began to reveal to them his death and resurrection. Hallelujah!
In living a Christian life, we must be careful not to be concerned only with external rituals, because these things are easily seen by people. And when we do, we often receive praise from our brothers and sisters in the church. What our brothers and sisters must be concerned about is the attitude of fearing God, which comes from the inside out, fearing and obeying Him both when people see and when people do not see.
Through the sermon of Peter, the first church in the world was born, through the work of the Holy Spirit, and the church has expanded and grown to this day. The church, as Jesus Christ promised, has the authority to forbid or allow the occurrence of various things.
It is time for the church in Thailand to rise up and take responsibility for Thailand, the country where we were born, the country where we grew up, by praying with authority. Allow good things to happen in Thailand and do not allow evil to grow in our land.
In Matthew 16, we talk about the human perspective and the divine perspective of the Pharisees and Sadducees, including the disciples, especially Peter.
✝️✝️ The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus, asking him to show them a sign in the sky, so that perhaps they would believe in him. But Jesus answered them that even though they could observe the sky and predict the weather, they saw many miracles that Jesus did, but they did not notice them, did not believe them. He performed them, but not in the way he wanted, but in Jesus' own way.
Jesus did a lot with the lives of our brothers and sisters in the past until today. Things around us have changed in many positive directions until today. That should be enough for us to believe and trust in Him for the events we are facing today.
✝️✝️ Those who seek miracles will not find miracles, but those who seek the face of Jesus will find Him. Along with finding miracles in life
If today, brothers and sisters desire to see miraculous deliverance in the lives of brothers and sisters, hurry to seek to have a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
✝️✝️ The miracle of feeding 5,000 people and 4,000 people is not enough for His disciples to trust Jesus with their food because the disciples do not connect their past experiences with God with their present events.
The way that brothers and sisters can face every event today with grace is to remember what Jesus has done to us in the past. How He has forgiven our sins. Today, He is ready to forgive us as well. How He has saved us in the past. Today, Jesus is ready to save us as well.
✝️✝️ Jesus warned his disciples against the teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees, who were only interested in the things of this world and the acceptance of man.
Today!!! Brothers and sisters, do you care more about people or God? Today!!!! Brothers and sisters, do you devote yourself more to things and things in this world or in heaven?
✝️✝️ Obedience, trust and accepting Jesus as Lord in someone's life is the work of the Holy Spirit in that person's life. Therefore, for those who love us to open their hearts to receive Jesus Christ, it is very necessary for someone to pray for them. Personally, God believes that there is not a single believer who receives Jesus Christ without someone praying for him first.
Today!!! Brothers and sisters, have you prayed for the people we love to know Jesus Christ?
✝️✝️ After Peter accepted Jesus Christ as Lord, Jesus told him that you are Peter (meaning a small stone). On this rock (Petra means a large rock), He will build a church that has power over death, a church that has the authority to forbid or allow. Spiritual things
This stone means Peter's acceptance that throughout history Jesus built His church from believers who received Him as Lord and nothing could resist or stop the growth and expansion of the church.
Although many authorities tried to stop it by punishing with death, it was not possible to stop His church.
Going to church and participating in church activities is a good thing and very beneficial for the brothers and sisters. But those things do not confirm that we are part of the body of Christ. Because being part of the body of Jesus Christ must occur by truly welcoming Jesus into the Lord of your life.
When you are part of the body of Christ, you have the authority to prohibit or allow things in the spiritual realm through your own prayers of faith. Today!!! How much have you used this privilege?
