Hey everyone! Did you know that the first prophet in both Jewish and Christian traditions is none other than Abraham? 🙌✨

Often called “Father Abraham,” he holds a super important place in our faith!

Why? Well, it all starts with a special agreement—or covenant—with God!

This covenant, found in Genesis 12:1-3, promises that Abraham will become the father of a great nation and that through him, all families of the earth will be blessed. That’s HUGE! 🌍💖

Abraham isn’t just a patriarch; he’s also seen as a prophet.

While the Bible doesn’t always call him one, he talks to God and follows divine instructions just like other prophets do.

In fact, in Genesis 20:7, God clearly calls him a prophet: “Now return the man’s wife, for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you...”

This shows us just how special Abraham’s relationship with God really is!

👉 Abraham symbolizes the foundation of our faith and a model of obedience to God. His role as a prophet highlights the importance of communication with the Divine.

Abraham’s covenant sets the stage for the Jewish people’s identity and mission in the world, showing that faith, action, and a deep connection to God are at the heart of our tradition. 💖✡️

He is also considered the spiritual father of everyone who puts their faith in YHVH, the God of Israel.
